new Trainee part II

Another running gag, made by trainee H. He tried to call back a customer. The customer left his German office no. starting with a +49…. (so that clearly means it’s the German country pre dial) also you have to dial 0 to get a free line in our office. He dialed few numbers and hanged up again. He did that 5-6 times before I asked: “what you are doing?”
H.: “just want to dial the customer’s number, but some crazy guy is picking up”
Me: “try again and turn on the loudspeaker”
He did that and a guy picked up, yelled a unknown language and got really angry…
Me: “let me try it”
I dialed the customer’s number and got the right customer on the phone in the same second. After H. finished talking with the customer, I checked again what he dialed before. And? He dialed the Columbian pre dial, because he got confused about the +49 and the 0 he have to dial in our office.

So Columbian guy, who got called 3am in the morning from mobile gadgets- we are sorry 

new Trainee part I

The new trainee, let’s call her F. was coming all time into my room to fax some papers. All time I really was pissed because she always needed a loooong time to do this job and the machine is really loud. So after few days I asked her what the heck she is doing all time with the fax machine.

Answer: I just have to copy it before sending it, because we just need 1 paper here…. :-O
No words, or? But this is now one of the running gags here…

this is a very short video review of the 3G iPhone. I dont had the time yet to make a full review. But maybe about the weekend...

LG HB620t in weekend use

Normally I am using a Blackberry Curve, I love it. But on the weekends it’s sometimes a bit much stress using it, so I am taking other phones with me for weekend use.

The last 2 weekends I got to use a LG HB620T with DBVT TV connection. What should I say, it’s a great phone, great haptic, great keypad, great TV reception, great Display (great means good, the Display of course could be bigger) and it does looks incredible beautiful.

BUT, what the heck did LG? The speaker isn’t loud enough to hear your phone ringing outside; the speaker isn’t loud enough to watch TV without having it close to the head. I mean, that one of the easy to handle and natural things to give a new handset a speaker what’s worth to use but for the HB620t, LG forgot that...

That’s a bit sad, because of that the HB620 is out of my weekend-use-list...

Several times my company started to have a blog or online magazine to show brand new phones to the public. Mobile Gadgets is the GSM superstore with the deepest product range worldwide. In the moment we have listed and available around 1800 cell phones. So we can easily, every day, make reviews of phones and gadgets where commercial Reviews pages will dream off.

Because of its way to much work to keep a project like www.mgc-mag.net alive, I decided to start blogging about these phones at this place.

MG&C is a company, founded 2000 in Germany. all employees are pretty young and chaotic like it have to be in new economy, I will use this blog too to share with you the weird stories of working in this company :-)
